KITTENS

I was with friends last night and they pulled up this YouTube video. I think this is one of the funniest things I have seen in a long time.

My Peeps

I have really been missing all of my friends in Phoenix. I am trying to make a trip out there but with everything that has been going on lately, I haven't really had a chance to plan anything. Hopefully I will get there soon. Anyway, just thought I'd post some pics of the people I can't wait to see again soon!

Lava Pics

Lava Hot Springs

For Valentines Day, Marc and I went up to Lava Hot Springs to enjoy a relaxing weekend together. We had a ton of fun. To start off the trip, Marc took the wrong freeway and we ended up heading to west Idaho, not where we wanted to go. It went something like this:

Megan: What freeway are we on?
Marc: (Confidently) The 84
Megan: Ok, we want the 15
Marc: No we don't
Megan: Yes we do
Marc: Let me see the map...Oh

So instead of a 2 1/2 hour trip, it was an adventurous 3 1/2.

When we entered Soda Springs (Lava was all sold out) we checked into the Enders Hotel. It is over 100 years old and has a museum inside as well. It was really cool to see all of the stuff they had. But let me tell ya, kinda creepy. Dead stuffed animals hanging from every wall, pictures from the early 1900's and a lot of chairs that you were asked to not sit on. I immediately thought, this place has to be haunted. So I took some pics to see if I could see any spots or whatever you are supposed to look for. Nothing. But, I did read that this hotel is one of the top 100 most haunted places in the US!

The next day we ate breakfast at the hotel where they gave us a $12 discount. Our breakfast was $5.75. Pretty good for being on a budget! We started noticing all of these pictures on the wall of geysers. So we asked if one was near by and the hostess pointed to the back of the building. By golly, the geyser was right in the backyard. So we decided since we were right there, we would take a gander. It was a nice surprise.

After the "show" we packed up and headed off to Lava where we swam in 104 degree water in 25 degree weather. We had a blast. There was an interesting couple that seemed to leanger around us the whole time. I learned he was on wife #4 had 5 heart surgeries, was having his 6th the next Tuesday, what city his first wife grew up in and that he was the same age as his current wifes mom.

After our swimming adventure we left Lava and drove to Pocatello!!!! We made ourselves pretty and headed straight to the Casino!!! You heard me! Last year we did the same thing in Prescott and actually won enough money to have a nice steak and seafood dinner. Well...not this year. We lost about $40. But it was a good time.

Then we had dinner, went to bed and drove on home the next day. (On the 15!)

It's Official

I'm a homeowner! So exciting. I decided to buy the condo in North Salt Lake. Thank you everyone for your opinions and comments on my last post. I decided that I will not die if I live there and why not do it if everyone else is, right! I don't have any final dates yet, but I'm guessing it will be ready by the end of Feb or first of March.

I can't wait to move in. I will post pictures as soon as it is ready. Cross your fingers that the cats can find the litter box and can deal with it not being in my bathroom anymore. Thank goodness we are ending that. So gross!

Cheers!
